Answers from your own pages, with the source linked
When a visitor asks a question, the agent finds the passages of your site closest to it, up to six of them, and writes an answer from those passages alone. The page each answer came from is linked under it.
A visitor who can see where an answer came from can check it, and trusts it. It also keeps the agent honest: it cannot quote a page you do not have.

It says when it does not know
If nothing on your site is close enough to the question, the agent does not fall back on general knowledge. It tells the visitor it could not find that and, if you allow it, offers them a person.
Search always returns something, and a model handed the least unrelated page will write a fluent paragraph about the wrong thing. To a visitor that looks like a good answer, and it is your reputation being spent.

You choose what it reads
An agent reads up to three kinds of source: the pages of a site hosted with us, any public website crawled page by page, and text you write yourself for things your site does not say.
On a static site we host, the agent reads the files straight from our servers, so pages nothing links to are included. On WordPress and other applications it reads the home page and every page in your sitemap, the way a visitor sees them.

On your site in one step
On a WordPress site hosted on our servers the agent is installed for you: its key is written into the site's configuration and the Zinn® Chat plugin shows the launcher. Anywhere else, paste one script tag before the closing body tag.
The agent only answers on the web addresses you list, up to twenty, so a key copied from your page cannot be used to run it on somebody else's site.

It does not slow your pages down
Until somebody clicks, the chat agent is a single small script that draws a button. It makes no network request on a page view, sits outside the page layout so it cannot move anything, and loads from our own edge network.
Chat widgets are one of the most common reasons a site fails its Core Web Vitals. A button that costs one small file and one paint is how an agent stays out of your speed score.

Your name, your greeting, your colour
Give the agent the name it uses for itself, the first thing it says, a short description of how it should answer, and your brand colour. The colour is applied to the launcher, the header, the send button and the visitor's own messages.

In your visitor's language
The agent replies in the language the visitor writes in, and matches the question to your pages across languages. When a question cannot be matched closely enough to pages written in another language, it says it could not find the answer rather than guessing. The chat window picks its own language from your page, then from the visitor's browser.
A visitor who has to switch language to get help usually leaves instead. You write your site once; the agent meets people where they are.

A monthly price per site, and a cap that protects you
The chat agent is added to one site at a monthly price and answers up to 2,000 messages a month on that site, including the ones you ask while testing. The AI model behind each answer is paid from your AI credit, or from your own provider key if you connect one.
When the monthly allowance is reached the agent stops answering until the next month and tells visitors so, rather than running up a bill you did not expect.
